Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about SerpPal plans, payments, limits, renewals, refunds, your account, teams, publishing, AI assistants, privacy and getting help.
Short answers to the questions we get most. Each one links to the page with the details.
Plans and limits
Is there a free plan? Yes. Every account starts on it, with no card needed. It includes every core tool with small monthly limits. See /pricing.
What do the limits count? Keyword analyses, AI words (every word the AI writes for you), keyword plans in the Content Planner, and media storage for images and videos. See Plans and limits.
When do my limits reset? On the 1st of every month (UTC). Unused amounts don't carry over. Media storage doesn't reset: it is the space your files use.
What happens when I run out? You keep everything you made. New analyses or AI words wait until the 1st of next month, or you can upgrade right away.
Does checking text with the AI checker or scoring an article use AI words? No. Your own writing, the content score, the AI detector and analyses don't use AI words. Analyses use your analyses limit.
Payments
How can I pay? By card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and more) through Dodo Payments, or, in Bangladesh, with bKash, Nagad, Rocket or a local card through EPS in taka. See Plans and payments.
Which currency are prices in? US dollars. EPS charges the same price in Bangladeshi taka at the rate shown before you pay.
Can I get an invoice? Card payments: click Invoices and card on Plan and billing. EPS payments: email support from your account's email.
My payment went through but my plan didn't change. Card payments take up to a minute to confirm. If it still hasn't changed after a few minutes, contact support with the date and amount.
Is yearly billing cheaper? Yes. Switch to Yearly on Plan and billing or /pricing to see the price per month.
Renewals, changes and cancelling
Do plans renew automatically? Card plans do, every month or year, until you cancel. EPS plans don't: you pay again when you want more time.
How do I cancel? Click Cancel renewal on Plan and billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, then moves to the free plan. See Change, renew or cancel.
How do I switch plans? For card plans, email us and we'll switch it, or cancel the renewal and buy the new plan. For EPS, buy the new plan. Details in Change, renew or cancel.
Do I lose my articles if my plan ends? No. Projects, articles and everything else are kept. Only the limits change.
Can I get a refund? Yes, within 7 days of your first payment if you used less than 30% of the plan's limits, and in a few other cases. See Refunds and the Refund Policy.
Your account
How do I change my password or name? On the Account page. See Account settings.
I forgot my password. Email [email protected] from your account's email and we'll help you sign in.
