Templates
Write social posts, emails, ads, meta tags, FAQs and more with 22 short-form templates that follow your brand kit and can reuse your articles.
Templates write short pieces of marketing copy from a small form. Pick a template, fill in a field or two, and click Write. The copy follows the brand kit of the project you choose, and many templates can turn one of your existing articles into a post, a thread or a newsletter.
Open Templates in the sidebar.

- Click Write. The result appears under the form as it is written.
- Click Copy next to Result to copy it. Click Write again for a new version.

The options explained
Brand kit from project
The copy follows the brand kit of the project you pick: its voice, audience, words to use and avoid, rules and products. The project's language is used too, so a project set to German gets German copy. If you have no projects yet, the list says No projects yet and the copy is written in plain English with no brand kit.
Use one of your articles
Templates marked "Yes" above can work from an article you already wrote in SerpPal. The list shows your recent analyses that have more than 50 words of content. When you pick one, the template reads that article (title and text) and repurposes it. You can still add notes in the topic field to steer it.
With an article picked, the topic field becomes optional. Without one, required fields must be filled, or you see a message like Fill in "What is it about?".
Tone
Many templates have a Tone choice: Brand voice (the default, which follows the brand kit), Friendly, Professional, Bold, Witty or Persuasive.
Your entries are kept while you switch
If you fill a form, switch to another template and come back, your entries are still there. They are kept only while the page is open.
Tips for better copy
- Give real details. Facts, numbers, names and offers make the copy specific. The AI is told not to invent statistics, prices, quotes or customer names, so what you give is what it can use.
- Use Citable brand claims for AI search. List real facts about your company (founded, customers, features, prices, results). You get claims that answer engines can quote word for word.
- Check character counts on Google ads and meta tags before you paste them. The counts are written by the AI and can be off by a few characters.
- Write again if the first version is close but not right. Each run is a fresh take.
AI words and limits
Template results count toward your monthly AI words. When they run out, you see a message to upgrade. See Plans and limits and /pricing.
Troubleshooting
"AI writing is not connected" Templates need an AI model. Ask the site admin to connect one.
The result is in the wrong language Templates use the language of the selected project. Pick another project, or change the project's language in its settings. See Countries and languages.
My article is not in the list Only articles with more than 50 words of content show up, from your most recent analyses. Write or paste some content into the article first.
